Overall Record 9-12

The highlight of the season was in our game against Plainfield in the first round of the County Tournament. We had trailed all game and were within three points in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter. We ran our three point play with about 7 seconds left on the clock. The ball fell into the hands of senior Karen Platts. She lined the ball up and fired without a second thought. She nailed it. The whole crowd went crazy, especially the bench. The game went into overtime and with the momentum we had gained from "the shot" we won the game in overtime. That was the first time we had beaten Plainfield in over five years.
